Children With Special Needs
The Special Needs Children Development Center provides support for the development and learning of children with special needs that include autism, developmental delays and attention deficiencies through activities appropriate for each child’s ability. These activities are designed by child development and behavior specialists, pediatric physical therapists, occupational therapists & child psychologists to appropriately stimulate the child’s development.
The Children’s Eye Center
Generally a pediatrician will check for overall abnormalities of the eyes of children from birth to age three, and after age three, the US Preventive Services Task Force recommends that all children receive a preliminary eye check-up to prevent amblyopia (lazy eye), vision abnormalities, and any other problems.
Conditions such as amblyopia, abnormal vision, strabismus (crossed eyes), abnormalities of the eyelid, disorders of the retina, and the optic nerves.
